SKYLINE (Preview February 11, 2016 – Full Event March 10 -19, 2016) is a free, ten-day, biannual architecture, art and technology event that showcases site specific, future-forward, interactive installations that embrace Los Angeles’ ever-evolving cultural landscape. During SKYLINE, architects, designers and artists transform historic, hidden spaces within downtown Los Angeles into a unique experiential event for visitors and locals alike.
The 2016 SKYLINE presentation will consist of ten installations crossing many distinct districts in downtown Los Angeles, including the Financial District, Historic District, and Arts District. The SKYLINE installations are created by internationally recognized architects and artists both local and abroad including: Evelina Domnitch + Dmitry Gelfand, Steve Lee (Aprilli Design Studio) + Meredith Sattler, Scenocosme (Gregory Lasserre & Anais met den Ancxt), Ila Berman, Mona El Khafif (Scale Shift) + Marcella Del Signore (X-Topia), Ben Juckes, Alexandra Schioldager, Yan Krymsky (Yazdani Studio), Noam Saragosti, and more. All of the installations will be on view nightly from 6pm – 10pm, and are located in Downtown Los Angeles Historic, Broadway and Financial Districts.
